Job Title: Data Quality Officer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00

What you’ll be responsible for:

Daily validation of the common user errors, including investigating cause of error, understanding complex pathways for multiple specialties, resolving conflicting information and sourcing data from a range of sources, by identifying areas of development to assist users in ‘getting it right first time’.

Utilise the Trust data assurance dashboards to track and monitor performance against key data quality metrics.

Liaising with a variety of staff, including but not exclusively; clinicians, managers and administration staff providing appropriate feedback and engaging with staff via telephone, face to face, and relevant meetings as identified.

To keep up to date with national and local waiting time targets for inpatient, day case, outpatient and diagnostic services.

Support the team with administrative duties.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Attention to detail

· Strong administrative background

· Strong IT/Computer skills

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
