Location: Whaplode Church of England Primary School, Whaplode, PE12 6TS and Weston St Mary CE Primary School, Weston, Spalding, PE12 6HU
Salary: £22,709.78 - £25,017.00 (Pro Rata) / £27,255.00 - £30,024.00 FTE
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus inset days and one additional week during school closures), Monday to Friday 8:30 – 16:00 with an unpaid 30-minute break

Administration and Finance Officer - The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the school's back-office functions operate effectively. This role encompasses managing office and administrative functions, overseeing ICT services, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the school. You will provide comprehensive administrative and finance support to enable the school to run smoothly.
Administration and Finance Officer - Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Bromcom system and ensure pupil and personnel records are updated and accurate, including preparation and timely upload of Census information
- Oversee payroll administration, checking outputs and reports to ensure accurate pay records and legislative compliance
- Manage the online cashless payment system and liaise with third-party suppliers such as catering and supply agencies
- Process purchase orders in line with LAAT Finance Policy, monitor procurement card use and obtain quotes according to purchasing procedures
- Oversee and provide line management to administration and clerical staff
- Maintain staff personnel files on the Trust HR system, ensuring pre-employment checks and compliance with safeguarding requirements
Administration and Finance Officer - You:
- Hold O Level or GCSE in English and Mathematics at grade C or above
- Have strong understanding of financial controls and excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Are proficient with IT systems, particularly accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Hold Enhanced DBS Clearance and understand the importance of safeguarding children
- Possess excellent organisational skills and empathy with the mission and vision of the Church of England
