Team Assistant / PA – Birmingham City Centre

£14-£16 per hour

5 days in office 

On-going temp role with the potential to convert to permanent 

The chance to join a leading investment bank with a globally recognised name, in Central Birmingham. My client is looking for a Team Assistant to join the Data Engineering division, with the opportunity to work alongside some of the top PAs within the industry alongside the Chief of Staff!

This role requires a polished, hardworking and driven individual, to work in their impressive offices Monday to Friday.  

Approximately 1 year of experience working as a PA or Team Assistant, within an office-based environment, will be essential in order to be considered for this opportunity.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Diary management, coordinating meetings and conference calls across multiple time-zones
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees 
  • Managing high volume of phone calls and emails
  • Maintain and complete regular data quality checks of internal organisational and workforce systems.
  • Support the management of workforce allocation and resource planning systems.
  • Assist with contingent worker onboarding, including following up on background checks and onboarding requirements.
  • Manage contingent worker time tracking and support accurate vendor invoicing.
  • Assist with monthly financial accruals and professional fee reconciliation.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports and data for senior stakeholders.
  • Support a range of operational projects and initiatives across the Data Engineering division.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure deadlines are met and processes are managed effectively.
ABOUT YOU:

  • 2–3 years' relevant experience, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated, professional environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong numeracy skills.
