The chance to join a leading investment bank with a globally recognised name, in Central Birmingham. My client is looking for a Team Assistant to join the Data Engineering division, with the opportunity to work alongside some of the top PAs within the industry alongside the Chief of Staff!
This role requires a polished, hardworking and driven individual, to work in their impressive offices Monday to Friday.
Approximately 1 year of experience working as a PA or Team Assistant, within an office-based environment, will be essential in order to be considered for this opportunity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Diary management, coordinating meetings and conference calls across multiple time-zones
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Managing high volume of phone calls and emails
- Maintain and complete regular data quality checks of internal organisational and workforce systems.
- Support the management of workforce allocation and resource planning systems.
- Assist with contingent worker onboarding, including following up on background checks and onboarding requirements.
- Manage contingent worker time tracking and support accurate vendor invoicing.
- Assist with monthly financial accruals and professional fee reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and data for senior stakeholders.
- Support a range of operational projects and initiatives across the Data Engineering division.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure deadlines are met and processes are managed effectively.
- 2–3 years' relevant experience, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated, professional environment.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong numeracy skills.
