This is a fast-paced administrative role supporting a busy operations team, responsible for coordinating vehicle and driver records, compliance documentation, servicing schedules and day-to-day operational administration. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a large field-based workforce.

Our client is a well-established national business operating across multiple UK locations, providing essential operational and field-based services to a wide range of commercial customers. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to join their busy support team.
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and updating vehicle and driver records.
- Monitoring and administering servicing, maintenance and MOT schedules.
- Coordinating vehicle bookings, deliveries and collections.
- Liaising with suppliers, garages and external service providers.
- Processing documentation, invoices and purchase orders.
- Supporting the management of fuel cards, vehicle trackers and company assets.
- Handling driver queries and providing administrative support.
- Maintaining compliance records and ensuring documentation is up to date.
- Producing reports and updating internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Supporting the wider operations team with ad hoc administrative duties.
- Acting as a key point of contact between field-based teams and support functions.
Profile
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working within a busy operational, logistics, transport, facilities, engineering or service environment would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for reliable commuting.
- Available to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week).
- Available to start immediately or on a short notice period.
- Happy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Must be able to work onsite during the initial training and onboarding period.
Job Offer
- £15.00 - £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Ongoing temporary assignment
- Hybrid working (1 day from home per week once established)
- Immediate start available
- Full-time hours
