Location: Slade House Horspath, Driftway, Oxford OX3 7JH
Hours: 18.5 hours per week – Wednesday & Friday 9am – 5pm and Mondays 9.30am – 12.30pm

Role type: Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension

Role details:
The Oxford Perinatal Service is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for women and birthing persons experiencing emotional distress related to their maternity experience. They offer a range of treatments and interventions tailored to individual needs, including guidance for partners and families. The service is available across Buckinghamshire and is part of the NHS Southeast Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Network, which helps health professionals and women/birthing people identify the most appropriate support for psychological wellbeing.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Answer team telephone, taking and recording messages accurately and responding to queries appropriately as required.
- Taking accurate action notes
- Arrange meetings and access information systems as appropriate, including access of clinical notes on Rio.
- Undertake general office duties in line with the task that is expected of tis band 3 role or line manager requests.
- Upload and manage incoming patient referrals and update department spreadsheets in a timely manner.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Competent with Microsoft office programmes, particularly Excel
- Excellent IT skills
- NHS experience (desirable)
- Email inbox management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
