Location: Nuneaton and Bedworth (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £17.54 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Until October 2026 (with the possibility of extension)

We are looking for a Property Services Support Officer to join a busy Housing team supporting the delivery of housing repairs and maintenance services across the Nuneaton and Bedworth area. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring repair requests are handled efficiently while providing excellent service to tenants, contractors and internal teams.



The Role

As the first point of contact for housing repairs, you will coordinate repair requests, schedule appointments and support the administration of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void properties. You'll work closely with colleagues across Property Services to ensure repairs are delivered efficiently and customers receive a high standard of service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to housing repair enquiries by phone and email.
  • Log repair requests and schedule appointments with customers.
  • Carry out basic diagnostic questioning to identify repair requirements.
  • Support the administration of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void properties.
  • Liaise with contractors, customers and internal teams to coordinate repair work.
  • Monitor repair progress and follow up outstanding jobs where required.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in service delivery.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety, data protection and organisational policies.


About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or housing repairs support role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using databases or scheduling systems.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively within a team.
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.

Experience within housing, property maintenance or repairs scheduling would be highly desirable but is not essential.
