  • Location: Birkenhead, Wirral
  • Salary: £25,350 - £26,227.50 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based on the Wirral for an Administrator to join their growing team.

This is a key role supporting the day-to-day coordination of client services, ensuring requirements are met, jobs are scheduled efficiently, and administrative processes run smoothly. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating planned and reactive works across multiple client sites
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and operatives to ensure services are delivered on time
  • Raising and processing work orders, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Monitoring job progress and updating internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Supporting contract administration, including invoicing and documentation
  • Handling incoming calls and emails from clients and resolving queries professionally
  • Maintaining accurate records, files, and service reports
  • Assisting with supplier coordination and ordering materials or equipment when required
  • Supporting the wider operations team with general administrative and coordination tasks

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
  • Positive, proactive approach to work and problem-solving

Desirable

  • Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, operations support, or a similar administrative role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
