Advanced Technical Lecturer - Electrical

We are looking for a strong electrical lecturer who can work full time Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30 at a college based in Newcastle. This would be a permanent position and the requirements are stated below:

• Relevant Electrical qualification – Electrical Installation / Inspection & Testing / AM2 or equivalent  

• Teaching qualification required  

• Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)  

• Internal Verification qualification preferred  

• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive teaching  

• Strong industry knowledge and current electrical practices  

• Confident using digital learning tools  

• Commitment to safeguarding and learner support 

• Electrical Installation  

• Inspection & Testing  

• Maintenance Electricians  

• Commercial / Industrial Electrical backgrounds  

• Electrical trainers / assessors  

• FE college lecturers  

• Apprenticeship delivery experience  

• Candidates with strong industry experience looking to move into education
