Alexander Faraday Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established automotive retailer to recruit an experienced After Sales Manager for one of its busy dealerships in Manchester.

You'll be responsible for driving the overall performance of the Service and Parts departments, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximising profitability, and leading a motivated team to deliver outstanding results.

The Role

As the After Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the Service and Parts teams.
• Driving departmental profitability and achieving key performance targets.
• Monitoring and improving customer satisfaction and retention.
• Managing departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
• Ensuring manufacturer standards and dealership processes are consistently maintained.
• Working closely with senior management to implement business strategies and continuous improvements.
• Managing workshop efficiency, productivity and utilisation.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and regulatory requirements.
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving escalated issues professionally.

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as an After Sales Manager, Service Manager or Senior Automotive Management professional within a dealership.
• A proven track record of improving departmental performance and profitability.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial understanding.
• A customer first approach with outstanding communication skills.
• The ability to motivate, inspire and develop high performing teams.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A full UK driving licence.
