Our client, a reputable automotive retail group in Bolton, is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead and develop their busy service department. Duties of the Aftersales Manager:
  • Achieve service department budget and customer satisfaction targets
  • Manage accurate job costing, invoicing, and parts control to maintain profit margins
  • Implement and maintain high standards of service quality and customer care
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Advisors
  • Ensure compliance with vehicle and consumer legislation
  • Collaborate with brand partners to meet manufacturer standards and objectives as an Aftersales Manager
  • Monitor and improve service department efficiency, profitability, and operational performance
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the retail motor trade at a managerial level
  • Strong technical knowledge of service department operations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation is desirable
  • Technical or engineering qualifications advantageous
  • Minimum of two years’ motor trade experience
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
