We are seeking a highly experienced Aftersales Manager to join our client’s reputable main dealership in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in dealership aftersales management, looking to lead a busy department and drive operational success.

Benefits for the successful Aftersales Manager:
  • Basic salary of £60,000, with potential earnings of up to £90,000+ OTE
  • Company car included
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm
  • Leadership role managing a team of approximately 20 staff, including 8 technicians

Duties of the Aftersales Manager:
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Aftersales department, encompassing Service, Parts, and Workshop functions
  • Improve workshop efficiency, productivity and profitability to meet and exceed business targets
  • Motivate, develop and lead a team of around 20 staff, including technicians
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, analysing performance and implementing strategies for improvement
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through the delivery of outstanding service
  • Collaborate with senior management to meet departmental and commercial objectives
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, health and safety regulations, and dealership policies
  • Recruit, coach, and develop staff to foster a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Oversee workshop loading, labour sales, parts performance, and overall departmental profitability
Requirements of the Aftersales Manager:
  • Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a main dealership environment
  • Experience within a prestige dealership is desirable but not essential; strong individuals from other main dealer backgrounds will also be considered
  • Leadership skills with a successful history of motivating and developing teams
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to consistently deliver strong financial results
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence
  • Well-organised with strong communication and people management skills
