We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Bristol, to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Aftersales Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional seeking to lead and develop a successful aftersales operation within a well-established automotive group.

Duties of an Aftersales Manager:
  • Lead and manage a team comprising 16-17 staff members, including the Parts Manager and Assistant Service Manager
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aftersales department, ensuring efficiency and high standards of customer service
  • Maximise workshop productivity and labour sales
  • Implement and uphold policies to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen the dealership's reputation
  • Support colleagues through effective leadership and training as needed
  • Ensure all processes are in line with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
  • Monitor department targets and report on performance metrics
  • Maintain high levels of team motivation and operational consistency
Requirements of an Aftersales Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise-approved car dealership
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Clear understanding of workshop operations and customer service standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • IT literacy, with proficiency in dealership management software
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Residing within a reasonable commuting distance of Bristol
  • Experience working with premium marques is desirable but not essential
