We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Aftersales Manager in Leicester. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 and an on-target earning potential of £65,000. The Aftersales Manager role requires experienced automotive management to oversee Service and Parts departments within a busy dealership environment.

The successful Aftersales Manager will be responsible for leading the department, maximising efficiency, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring departmental profitability.

  • 45 hours per week
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
  • One in four Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:30pm
  • Sundays off

Duties:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Aftersales department
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Service and Parts teams
  • Monitor department KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Maximise workshop productivity and profitability
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Oversee Service and Parts operations, ensuring effective communication and cooperation
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and company protocols
  • Handle customer queries and escalations professionally
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of staff
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturer representatives
  • Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams and improved customer retention
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Aftersales Management within the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of Service and Parts operations
  • Proven leadership, team motivation, and development skills
  • Solid understanding of profitability and commercial awareness
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse performance data and work towards challenging targets
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Full UK driving licence
