We're looking for a reliable Agency Chef to support a care home kitchen throughout September, covering holidays and days off. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a Kitchen Assistant, with potential temp-to-perm options available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

As an Agency Chef, you'll take responsibility for the kitchen when the usual Chef is away.

• Running the kitchen independently with support from a Kitchen Assistant
• Preparing and serving meals to residents
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Ensuring meals meet individual dietary requirements
• Applying IDDSI knowledge when preparing modified-texture meals

What we're looking for

We're looking for a confident Chef who is comfortable working independently and understands the specific requirements of care home catering.

• Enhanced DBS required
• Previous experience working as a Chef
• Good knowledge of IDDSI and modified-texture diets
• Confidence running a kitchen independently
• Availability to work selected days throughout September
• A reliable and professional approach
