You'll work within a multi-disciplinary team of Development Engineers, Test Engineers, Technical Architects, Product Managers, User Researchers, Business Analysts and Service Owners, and join a wider Delivery Manager Community of Practice helping to raise the bar for delivery management across the DDaT Directorate.
What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the team in estimating, tracking and delivering against business priorities
- Partnering with Product Managers and technical stakeholders on priorities and dependencies
- Overseeing workflow from backlog to delivery using flow metrics to improve predictability
- Tracking and reporting against milestones and forecasts
- Representing the team at programme-level sessions
- Identifying and managing risks and issues, with clear mitigation plans
- Acting as an escalation point during live incidents
- Proactively removing blockers to team performance
- Driving continuous improvement in agile maturity
- Managing cross-team dependencies across the wider programme
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience leading cross-functional Agile delivery teams
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working knowledge of DevOps
- Experience delivering as part of a wider programme
- Strong stakeholder communication across technical, non-technical and political boundaries
- Skilled facilitator of agile ceremonies and team collaboration
- Strong prioritisation, dependency and risk management skills
- Experience producing accurate, timely delivery MI and reporting
- Experience with agile tools such as Azure DevOps, ActionableAgile or similar
- Experience leading teams using automated delivery methods (CI/CD, automated testing)
- Ability to influence within DDaT and across the wider organisation
- Familiarity with Kanban flow metrics and data-driven decision-making
- A relevant Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager qualification (Prince2 not accepted)
Desirable:
