Description

As a Senior Application Engineer specialising in Oracle Fusion HCM, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing functional solutions, and configuring systems to support HR operations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and maintaining Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Absence, Talent, and Payroll.
  • Translating business requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Managing change requests, releases, and system enhancements.
  • Supporting integrations between Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems.
  • Producing functional designs, specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolving defects.
  • Delivering training and knowledge transfer to end users and colleagues.
  • Mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.
  • Driving process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing relationships with third-party suppliers and technology partners.

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience configuring and implementing Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience across HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence, Talent, and Payroll.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to delivery.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation.
  • The ability to mentor colleagues and support business change initiatives.

Job Offer

  • Salary of £42,730 - £53,477 depending on experience.
