Airworthiness Engineer

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Technical Services Engineer (CAMO Engineer). This is a contract role based full-time onsite at Warton, dedicated to ensuring high standards of technical support within the field.

• Providing expert technical services and support to maintain airworthiness standards
• Monitoring and assessing airworthiness data and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with engineering teams to address and resolve technical issues
• Conducting thorough inspections and audits to uphold safety and reliability
• Documenting and reporting on technical findings, actions, and recommendations
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the technical services team
• Offering technical guidance and training to junior engineers and other staff

• Extensive experience in airworthiness and technical services within the Defence & Security sector
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to analyse and interpret technical data accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Relevant degree or qualification in engineering or a related discipline

• Full-time onsite role based in Warton
• 12-month contract position
• 37 hours per week
• Inside IR35
