Teaching Personnel is recruiting a full-time ALN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist educational setting supporting children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants, Care Workers, Support Workers, Youth Workers, Sports Coaches, and Graduates looking to gain valuable experience within education.
The role is available on a long-term basis for the full academic year, with opportunities for permanent contracts available for successful candidates.
The RoleAs an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will:
✅ Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and additional learning needs.
✅ Provide one-to-one and small group support.
✅ Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
✅ Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
✅ Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
✅ Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, ALN professionals, and support staff.
