Location: North Yorkshire (Field-based with home working)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities of a Area Sales Manager:

  • Account management and customer growth
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying new business opportunities within your territory
  • Building relationships with trade customers
  • Producing quotations and negotiating pricing
  • Maximising sales opportunities and revenue
  • Managing your own diary and customer visits
  • Spending 3 to 4 days per week on the road, with home-based administration

Requirements of a Area Sales Manager:

  • An experienced B2B field sales professional
  • Skilled in key account management
  • Self-motivated, resilient and able to work independently
  • Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Commercially aware and confident negotiating pricing
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues
  • Experience within the doors, windows, conservatories or wider building products industry would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other B2B sales backgrounds will also be considered
  • Applicants based within or close to North Yorkshire are preferred
