Area Sales Manager – Structural Building Materials

A field sales role promoting our clients’ award-winning range of lintels and structural support building materials to national house builders and regional developers across the South East and South Central region.

Package: circa £50k basic with a £5k bonus scheme +

Territory: South East, Home Counties and South Central 

The Role – Area Sales Manager:

• You’ll be selling an award-winning range of lintels and structural support building materials
• Tracking and winning projects with national house builders and regional developers
• There are framework agreements already in place with many of the national house builders, so a big part of the role will be developing relationships with their regional offices, tracking developments and winning projects
• You’ll also be prospecting and winning new regional house builders to add to your portfolio
• You’ll be supported by an internal estimating and technical team throughout the sales process

The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:

• You will already have field sales experience within the construction industry.
• Applicants with experience selling into house builders or developers will be readily received, although this is not essential
• You will be outgoing and confident, someone who naturally builds rapport and earns the trust and respect of their customers
• You will have first-class communication, business development and account management skills
