We're partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing materials handling businesses to recruit an ambitious Area Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that's investing heavily in its people, products and future growth.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage existing relationships alone. We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, winning new business and building long-term partnerships with customers across the region.

If you already have strong relationships with manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and distribution businesses throughout the West Midlands, you'll be given the freedom, support and product portfolio to make a real impact.

The Role

You'll take ownership of a well-established territory, developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts. Selling a market-leading range of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment and associated services, you'll work closely with customers to understand their operations and deliver the right solution for their business.

You'll manage your own diary, generate your own pipeline, carry out customer visits, prepare proposals and negotiate profitable deals, all whilst building a strong presence across your territory.

• Has a successful track record in materials handling sales.
• Knows the West Midlands territory and customer base.
• Has existing relationships within manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
• Is commercially astute and comfortable negotiating at all levels.
• Is self-motivated, resilient and genuinely enjoys winning.
• Creates opportunity.
• Takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service alongside strong commercial results.
