Area to be covered: Midlands and South – possible London focus

Remuneration: £45,000-£55,000 + Up to £12,000 Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Worktops/ slabs will involve:

• Field sales role selling a manufactured range of large format  slabs for kitchen worktops
• Acting as a product champion for large format slabs in the South of the country
• 70% of your time managing and developing circa 100 kitchen  studio’s and independent kitchen and bathroom retailers
• 30% of your time managing and growing approx. 10-15 stonemasons/ worktop fabricators
• Growing kitchen worktop revenue from £175,000 to £250,000 in year one
• Circa 15 customer visits per week
• Overnight stays when required, covering a large area
• Travel 3-4 times a year to Spain and Italy
• Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing kitchen studio’s, kitchen & bathroom retailers as required

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Worktops/ Slabs with:

• Must have kitchen worktops field sales experience, will consider a mix of worktop slabs and tiles
• 2 years+ field sales experience
• Prior experience of having sold into kitchen studio’s, merchants, retail showrooms, stonemasons or worktop fabricators desirable
• Hardworking/ honest
• Professional and prepared with strong organisation and territory management capability
• Prepared to do high UK mileage and happy to travel abroad when required
