Area Sales Manager – Commercial Heating

South East England

Territory: Portsmouth, Southampton, Surrey, London, Brighton, Reading and surrounding areas

Salary: £60,000 Basic + Commission + Company Car + Benefits

An established and highly respected manufacturer within the commercial heating sector is looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager to take over a well-established South East territory following a long-serving employee's retirement.

This is an excellent opportunity to inherit a mature, successful region with existing relationships and significant ongoing project opportunities.

The Role

Covering the South East, you'll be responsible for promoting a range of commercial heating solutions to M&E consultants, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and key specification partners.

The role is focused on developing specifications, managing projects from design through to installation, and growing business within an established customer base while identifying new opportunities across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing an established South East territory.
  • Selling commercial heating solutions through specification.
  • Building relationships with M&E consultants, consulting engineers and mechanical contractors.
  • Identifying and securing new project opportunities.
  • Managing projects from specification through to order and completion.

We're keen to speak with experienced technical sales professionals who understand specification sales within the HVAC, commercial heating or building services market.

You may currently be working as an:

  • Area Sales Manager
  • Specification Sales Manager
  • Business Development Manager
  • Regional Sales Engineer
  • Technical Sales Engineer

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience selling into M&E consultants and mechanical contractors.
  • Knowledge of commercial heating, HVAC, boilers, heat pumps or building services products.
  • Strong specification sales experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
