Art Teacher in Longford, Coventry

Job Description 

We are currently recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a school in Coventry on a full-time basis from January through to July 2027. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons, encouraging pupils to develop their creativity, artistic skills and confidence.

The Role:

• Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across the relevant key stages.
• Teaching a range of artistic techniques, materials and creative processes
• Encouraging pupils to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic styles.
• Preparing resources and maintaining a positive, stimulating learning environment.
• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring all pupils are engaged in learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
• Passionate about Art and creative education.
• Confident in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, organised and enthusiastic.
