The Company

Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy delivering surveying, analytical and compliance services across domestic, commercial, industrial and public-sector environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover Coventry and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out a range of asbestos surveys across a varied portfolio of properties and sites.

You will be responsible for gathering accurate information, taking samples and producing clear, detailed survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards.

The Asbestos Surveyor will work independently while building positive relationships with clients, site teams and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management asbestos surveys.
• Complete Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
• Collect asbestos samples safely and accurately.
• Record detailed site information and survey findings.
• Produce clear and accurate survey reports.
• Work across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
• Ensure all work complies with HSG264 guidance.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and site contacts.
• Support trainee surveyors when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technical quality.

Requirements

The successful Asbestos Surveyor will ideally have:

• BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience carrying out asbestos surveys.
• Knowledge of HSG264 and relevant asbestos legislation.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Professional and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Salary of £34,000–£38,000.
