Assembly Operative

Delta Personnel are looking for Assembly workers to start work in Lancing.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Shift patterns are available:

Job info AM shift

• 06:00 - 15:30 | Monday - Thursday
• 06:00 - 12:00 | Friday

Job info PM shift

• 12:00 – 22:00 | Monday – Thursday
• 12.00 - 18.00 | Friday

Typical duties

• Assembling kitchen units: Putting together cabinets, panels, drawers and other furniture components.
• Using tools safely: Operating basic hand and power tools after appropriate training.
• Following specifications: Working from production instructions, diagrams or job sheets.
• Quality checking: Looking for damage, incorrect fittings, poor alignment or finish defects.
• Supporting production: Moving completed items forward and helping the line meet its targets.
• Maintaining standards: Keeping the work area clean and following PPE and safety procedures.

Best candidate profile

Someone with good manual dexterity, accuracy, reliability and teamwork skills. Experience in furniture, joinery, manufacturing or production assembly would transfer well.
