Assembly Operative

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Castle Donington, for an Assembly Operative to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Assembly Operative Job Details and benefits;

• 7:30am–4pm – Monday to Thursday & 7:30am-3:30pm on Fridays

Assembly Operative Responsibilities;

• Assembling and packing products
• Inform the Quality Control team when the first item or batch has been prepared and is ready for inspection.
• Record the quantity of products assembled and the time taken, and report any differences or missing components identified on the BOM
• Recording of non-value-added work on production sheets
• Reporting to production and warehouse manager of any damaged components for write-off
• Inform the Quality Control team of any products that need to be returned to the supplier
• Maintain health and safety standards and good housekeeping within assembly area
• Setting up the Clare tester to the correct position for the required test
• Ensure correct labelling of products/components that are to be returned to stock
• Carry out stock control checks when required
• Complete any other reasonable tasks requested by your line management

Assembly Operative Person Specification;

• Experience in assembling and packing products is essential
• Ability to work aspart of a team as well as using own initiative
• Motivated and reliable approach to work
• Quality control/testing is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
