Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Hixon.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the assembly of components and sub-assemblies, working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities for an Assembly Operative
- Carry out assembly and sub-assembly work
- Read and work from technical drawings
- Use hand tools and equipment safely
- Identify and report any faults or quality issues
- Ensure work is completed to required standards
Requirements for an Assembly Operative
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Previous manufacturing, assembly or testing experience would be advantageous
- An electrical or electronics background would be preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Practical and hands-on approach to work
Pay & Working Hours for an Assembly Operative
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Thursday
- 38 hours per week
- 6:30am – 4:30pm (Flexible)
- Some flexibility with working hours
