Senior Quality Assurance Technician for a bespoke Food Manufacturer based in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality assurance, food safety, hygiene, GMP and compliance across the site.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Leading small QA team with a strong shop floor presence.
  • Conducting QA checks, inspections, sampling, environmental monitoring and trend analysis.
  • Maintaining GMP, Food Safety and HACCP prerequisite programme compliance.
  • Driving corrective actions from quality and hygiene non-conformances.
  • Supporting customer requirements, trials, changeovers, complaints and incident investigations.
  • Managing hygiene programmes, cleaning schedules, cleaning validation and verification.

Essential / Desirable skills include:

  • Proven track record in a Quality / Technical role in Food Manufacturing
  • GMP enforcement and food safety leadership
  • Auditing and compliance management
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action management
  • Coaching, training and team leadership
  • Hygiene and cleaning expertise
