Assistant Manager role at a busy automotive service centre, ideal for someone with a strong automotive background who is ready to step into a hands-on management position. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary, bonus potential and ongoing training and progression.

Must have the right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence.

Salary:£34,203 basic per annum OTE £41,203

Assistant Manager Requirements:
•    Automotive experience gained in a workshop, service centre or similar environment, either hands-on or in a supervisory/management role.
•    Good mechanical understanding, with a relevant light vehicle qualification desirable but not essential where strong experience can be shown.

Assistant Manager role:
•    Assist the Centre Manager with the daily running of the site and support effective team leadership
•    Help monitor centre performance, sales activity and operational standards
•    Ensure customers receive a professional, efficient and helpful service throughout their visit
•    Spend time in the workshop supporting technicians as well as assisting with customer-facing duties
•    Support colleagues with guidance, on-the-job coaching and day-to-day problem solving
•    Help maintain safe working practices and compliance with centre procedures
•    Use internal systems to help organise work, track activity and keep the centre operating smoothly
