Are you organised, confident communicating with customers, and looking to develop your career within a busy finance team?

We're looking for an Assistant Credit Controller to join our growing national business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in finance to play a key role in supporting cash collection activities and maintaining customer accounts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Credit Control team to manage customer accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Contacting customers by telephone and email regarding overdue payments.
  • Allocating incoming payments and updating customer records accurately.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate account information.
  • Assisting with month-end processes and credit control administration.
  • Building positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, or administration and customer service experience gained within a finance environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience working within a finance or credit control environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
