As an Assistant Ecologist, you will support the delivery of ecological projects from initial surveys through to reporting and project completion. You will gain exposure to a variety of protected species and habitat surveys while working alongside experienced ecologists and supporting clients across different sectors.

The Assistant Ecologist role will involve:

• Undertaking a range of protected species and habitat surveys
  * Supporting Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological reporting
  * Assisting with Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and habitat surveys
  * Producing accurate field notes, data and technical reports
  * Working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and other professionals
  * Travelling to sites as required

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
  * Some practical ecological survey experience
  * Strong interest in developing a career in consultancy
  * Full UK driving licence
  * Full right to work in the UK
  * Living in or within a commutable distance of the Inverness office
