Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to support the effective delivery of facilities management services across a diverse client portfolio.
Job Overview
This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across assigned properties and client contracts. Working closely with the Regional Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure operational effectiveness, compliance with statutory requirements, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
The position requires a proactive and customer-focused individual who can coordinate contractors and service providers, support operational performance, maintain compliance standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role plays a key part in ensuring facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and operational management of facilities services across assigned properties and clients.
- Manage and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and specialist service providers.
- Monitor service delivery performance and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, statutory requirements, permits, and company policies.
- Conduct audits, inspections, compliance checks, and maintain associated records and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills, business continuity planning, and emergency response coordination responsibilities.
- Manage customer queries, complaints, and stakeholder communications in a professional and effective manner.
- Promote a positive team culture and support ongoing process and service improvements.
