Assistant Management Accountant PQ

Anderson Knight is proud to partner to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in North Lanarkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is currently studying towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative finance team. Offering a hybrid working model, this role provides exposure to a broad range of management accounting responsibilities and excellent opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
•    Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
•    Support the month-end close process, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
•    Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
•    Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
•    Prepare financial reports and provide insight to support business decision-making.
•    Support cash flow reporting and other finance-related analysis.
•    Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure accurate financial information.
•    Assist with process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of finance procedures.
•    Provide support with year-end audit requirements and other ad hoc finance projects.

About You
•    Currently studying towards an ACCA or CIMA qualification.
•    Previous experience within a management accounting or finance environment.
•    Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
•    Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
•    Able to manage priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
•    A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
