Assistant Principal – Employer Skills, Innovation & Growth

£75,000 + up to £10,000 PRP | Full-time | Further Education

We are supporting a leading Further Education organisation in the appointment of an Assistant Principal – Employer Skills, Innovation & Growth.

Reporting to the Principal & CEO and operating as part of the Senior Leadership Team, this is a pivotal role focused on growth, employer engagement, apprenticeships, innovation and income generation.

You will lead teams across Apprenticeships, Employer Skills & Business Development and Commercial Services, with responsibility for:

• Driving income growth, new business and commercial opportunities.
• Providing strategic leadership for Apprenticeship provision, quality and outcomes.
• Developing strong employer partnerships and engagement strategies.
• Identifying new skills, curriculum and commercial opportunities.
• Leading bids, funding opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Acting as the organisation's Ofsted Nominee for Skills.
• Leading and developing high-performing teams and managing significant budgets.

About You

We are looking for an experienced FE leader with a proven track record in:

• Apprenticeships and employer engagement
• Growing income and developing new business
• Strategic and operational leadership
• Apprenticeship funding and ESFA requirements
• Bid writing and competitive tendering
• Quality improvement and inspection
• Managing budgets, KPIs and organisational change

You will be a commercially minded, inspirational leader who can build trusted employer relationships, identify opportunities and translate strategy into measurable growth and impact.

Salary: £75,000 + up to £10,000 PRP
Contract: Full-time
Location: Cross-college, base agreed with successful candidate
