• Assistant SENCO - Previous experience supporting SEND provision within a secondary school required
• Assistant SENCO - National Award for SEN Coordination desirable or willingness to work towards it
• Assistant SENCO - Must have strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs and annual reviews
• Assistant SENCO - Required full time ASAP

The Role - Assistant SENCO
Seeking an organised and dedicated Assistant SENCO to support pupils aged 11-18 within a secondary school setting. You will work closely with the SENCO to coordinate SEND provision, support the implementation of EHCPs and ensure pupils receive the appropriate interventions to achieve positive outcomes. The role involves liaising with teachers, parents and external professionals, monitoring pupil progress, assisting with annual reviews, maintaining accurate SEND records and supporting staff with strategies to meet the needs of pupils with additional needs. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
