We are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a long-term roofing and cladding project in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Site Manager on a major refurbishment programme involving the removal of asbestos roofing and installation of new Kingspan roofing sheets.
As the Assistant Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. A key aspect of the role will be overseeing quality inspections, snagging, and progress reporting using digital site management software.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting the Site Manager with the daily running of site operations
- Monitoring health & safety compliance and site standards
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
- Carrying out quality inspections and snagging works
- Using Field View or Site Audit Pro for reporting, inspections, and defect management
- Ensuring works progress in line with programme requirements
- Supporting project documentation and site reporting
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within construction, roofing, cladding, or industrial refurbishment projects
- Strong working knowledge of Field View or Site Audit Pro snagging software
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality management on site
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Salary of £35,000 per annum
- Additional Agreed travel allowance
