Associate Building Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Building Surveyor to join a highly regarded property consultancy, taking a key role within an established Building Surveying team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and assume greater responsibility.

You will have a strong professional bias, providing building surveying advice to a diverse client base while heading up a team of surveyors. The role offers excellent exposure to clients, projects and business development, alongside the opportunity to play an active role in the continued growth of the team.

• Lead and manage a team of Building Surveyors.
• Deliver a range of professional building surveying services.
• Undertake condition and dilapidations surveys and reports.
• Provide technical advice to clients across a varied property portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with business development and winning new instructions.
• Support and mentor junior members of the team.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Building Surveying service.

• MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.
• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong professional building surveying background.
• Experience managing or mentoring junior surveyors.
• Excellent technical, communication and client-facing skills.
• Commercially aware with an interest in business development.
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing consultancy.
