Your role will also involve assisting with the management duties of a Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) practice and acting on behalf of the company in either a Quantity Surveying or Employer's Agent capacity.
The projects you will manage span across Scotland, with a significant focus on the central belt, covering sectors such as residential, hotels and leisure, education, industrial, public buildings, commercial, and office fit-out.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture client relationships
- Assist with the management duties of a PQS practice
- Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Act on behalf of the company in Quantity Surveying or Employer's Agent roles
- Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Maintain high standards of project documentation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team
- Relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Chartered Qualification (MRICS or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Quantity Surveying practices
- Experience in sectors such as residential, hotels and leisure, education, industrial, public buildings, commercial, and office fit-out
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working model
