Are you an experienced Building Performance Consultant with exceptional IES VE expertise and consultancy management experience?

Zest4Talent is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit an Associate / Associate Director to lead and develop its growing Building Performance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy delivering innovative, sustainable building solutions across the UK. You'll combine technical excellence with leadership, mentoring, client relationship management and business development.

The Role

You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects while supporting the continued growth of the Building Performance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading Building Performance and Sustainability projects across multiple sectors.
• Delivering and reviewing Dynamic Thermal Modelling using IES VE.
• Providing technical leadership on overheating assessments, thermal comfort, operational energy and building performance.
• Managing, mentoring and developing a team of consultants.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development and winning new work.
• Ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and the highest technical standards.
• Contributing to the strategic growth of the consultancy.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Extensive experience within a Building Performance or Sustainability Consultancy.
• Expert user of IES VE.
• Previous consultancy management or team leadership experience.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience developing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A passion for developing people and driving technical excellence.

Location

The preferred location for this position is Edinburgh, however applications are also encouraged from candidates based in:

• Glasgow
• Leeds
• Warrington
• Birmingham

This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in your nearest office three days per week.
