Auction Consultant – Property Technology & Online Auctions

Location: Remote, with a team day in London once a month
Travel: UK-wide client travel required
Salary: £35,000 + commission (£45,000 OTE)

Are you an experienced property professional who thrives on building relationships, managing transactions and finding solutions?

We’re looking for an Auction Consultant to join a fast-growing property technology business that is transforming the way properties are bought and sold through online auctions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in estate agency, property sales and sales progression who wants to play a key role in a growing, technology-led business.

The Role

As an Auction Consultant, you’ll become a trusted point of contact for estate agents using our online auction platform. You’ll manage property transactions from instruction through to completion, while supporting agents to identify suitable auction stock and maximise opportunities.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and wider team, combining excellent customer service and property expertise with technology to make transactions faster, more certain and more transparent.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing property transactions from instruction through to completion.

• Acting as the primary point of contact for estate agent clients.

• Supporting agents with market appraisals, seller instructions, legal packs, offers and sales progression.

• Monitoring online bidding and helping agents and sellers navigate the auction process.

• Liaising with sellers, buyers, solicitors and agents to keep transactions moving.

• Providing auction pricing advice and helping to win suitable auction instructions.

• Carrying out regular stock checks with estate agent clients to identify properties suitable for auction.

• Training and educating agents on online auctions and how to identify suitable opportunities.

• Conducting face-to-face client visits and virtual account check-ins.

• Supporting vendors and buyers throughout the transaction where required.

• Ensuring AML and ID checks are completed accurately and within required timescales.

• Managing transaction records, digital files and post-sale administration.

• Responding to enquiries and resolving issues proactively.

• Supporting marketing events, webinars, conferences and industry events.

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.

• Contributing to projects and initiatives as the business continues to grow.

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have 3–5 years’ experience in property sales and/or sales progression, preferably within estate agency, with experience of auctions or technology-led property services being a strong advantage.

You’ll also have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The confidence to communicate with clients by phone, video and face-to-face.

• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.

• The ability to train, present and educate estate agents and buyers.

• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to take ownership.
