We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician based in Woking, Surrey. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, dependent on experience, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm. This vacancy is ideal for a Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician looking to specialise in complex vehicle systems and electrical fault analysis.

Duties:
  • Conduct high-level diagnostics on vehicle electrical systems and electronic components
  • Utilize advanced tools including oscilloscopes, signal analysis, and cam analyzers for fault diagnosis
  • Perform electrical system repairs focusing on non-mechanical issues
  • Identify and resolve complex electrical faults efficiently, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of repair quality
  • Complete diagnostics accurately within designated timeframes
  • Maintain detailed records of diagnostics and repairs for quality assurance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic / Auto Electrician Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Motor Engineer with a focus on diagnostics
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with experience in complex diagnostics
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and related equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through relevant training
  • Relevant automotive engineering or electrics qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
