Azure Integration & Network Security Engineer in Greater Manchester

An experienced Azure Integration & Network Security Engineer is required to review, secure and optimise a complex Azure integration environment. The Azure Integration & Network Security Engineer will deliver practical improvements across networking, connectivity and integration services during an initial three-month contract.

• Our client is a large UK organisation undertaking enhancements to its cloud integration and security capabilities.
• This contract offers the opportunity to improve business-critical Azure services within a collaborative technical environment.

Description

As the Azure Integration & Network Security Engineer you will:

• Review and assess the existing Azure integration environment.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Enhance Azure networking, connectivity and integration services.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and networking issues.
• Optimise Azure API Management (APIM) configurations.
• Improve Azure VNet integration between services.
• Produce technical documentation and implementation recommendations.
• Work closely with internal teams and share knowledge where required.
• The role will come with hybrid flexibility, with only 1 day per week required on site at the office in Greater Manchester.

Profile

The successful Azure Integration & Network Security Engineer will have:

• Strong Azure Networking and Azure Security expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Azure VNet Integration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM).
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.
• A track record of securing Azure-hosted integrations and services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Based within the Greater Manchester region.

Desirable experience includes:

• Private Endpoints
• Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Azure Firewall
• Hybrid connectivity solutions
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Job Offer

• £500 - £520 per day.
• Initial 3-month contract.
• Inside IR35 engagement.
• Manchester location with 1 day per week onsite working.
