Band 4 Electrician – NHS Estates

We are currently looking for an experienced Band 4 Electrician to support the Estates team at West London NHS Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician with experience in electrical maintenance, repairs, minor works and planned preventative maintenance within a commercial, healthcare, NHS or facilities environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and non-routine electrical maintenance activities

• Complete new works, repairs and planned maintenance on electrical services

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests efficiently

• Assist with minor new installation works

• Complete weekly planned preventative maintenance tasks

• Escort contractors carrying out inspections, installations and remedial works

• Ensure all work is completed in line with Trust policies, procedures, Health & Safety and Security Regulations

• Maintain tool lists and follow safe working practices

• Work effectively with Estates staff, contractors and site teams

• Support work across London sites where required

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an Electrician or Maintenance Electrician

• Experience carrying out electrical repairs, planned maintenance and reactive works

• Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures

• Own tools and PPE

• Computer literate

• Ability to interact professionally at all levels

• Flexible and adaptable approach

• Able to work to deadlines

• Satisfactory attendance record

• Current manual driving licence

Desirable:

• Previous NHS, hospital, healthcare or estates experience

• Experience working in a commercial or facilities maintenance environment

• Knowledge of Health & Safety and security procedures

This role would suit candidates with experience as an Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Estates Electrician, Facilities Electrician, Building Services Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Operative.
