Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently perform and report high-quality echocardiograms in line with BSE guidelines.
- Deliver safe, compassionate and patient-focused care throughout the patient journey.
- Assess patients' individual needs across a varied caseload.
- Work closely with Consultants, Cardiac Physiologists and nursing colleagues to support clinical decision-making.
- Support the ongoing development of cardiac diagnostic services.
- Contribute to service improvement and quality initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection prevention and professional practice.
Who We're Looking For
You'll be a skilled and motivated Echocardiographer who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and providing an outstanding patient experience.
- BSc Clinical Physiology (or equivalent qualification).
- BSE accreditation and registration.
- Post-qualification experience in echocardiography.
- Experience independently performing and reporting echocardiograms.
- Experience scanning adult patients; experience scanning adolescents would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to clinical excellence.
- A proactive approach to quality improvement and service development.

Hours: Variable Shifts | Tuesday
