Bank Healthcare Assistant

Service Location: Hothfield, Ashford

Pay: From £14.57 to £21.85 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assitants to join the bank team at Hothfield Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Ashford, Kent. 

The centre supports people recovering from brain injuries through specialist rehabilitation and longer-term care, helping them work towards practical goals and greater independence.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Supporting people with personal care and everyday needs 
• Assisting with mobility, meals and hydration 
• Monitoring and reporting changes in a person’s condition 
• Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals 
• Following care plans and keeping accurate records 

What you’ll need: 

• To be aged 18 or over 
• At least six months of paid UK care experience within the last two years 
• Experience in neurological care
• The right to work in the UK 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills 
• A caring, reliable and professional approach 
• Due to the location of the service, being a driver would be beneficial
