We are seeking enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in Salisbury on an adhoc/ flexible basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people aged 4–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated challenges.
The Role- Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom
- Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model
- Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
- Working closely with teaching staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment
- At least 6 months consistent experience working with children or young people
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence working with pupils who may display challenging behaviours
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
- Must be able to work 08:15 - 15:00 on the days you are available

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
