We are currently seeking an experienced Banksman l to join our client on a National Grid project.
Requirements:
- Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Banksman / Vehicle Marshal qualification
- Previous experience working on civil engineering or utilities projects
- Good understanding of plant and vehicle movements, exclusion zones, and site health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Duties:
- Safely marshal and guide plant, vehicles, and deliveries around site
- Ensure safe segregation of pedestrians and moving plant
- Maintain clear communication with plant operators and site personnel
- Monitor vehicle movements and ensure compliance with site traffic management plans
- Follow site instructions and National Grid safety standards
- Assist with general site duties when required
