Coffee in the Copse – Westcott, Surrey

£15–£18 per hour (depending on experience)
Saturday: 10:00am – 3:30pm &Sunday: 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, skilled Barista to join our small and welcoming team at Coffee in the Copse in Westcott.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, community-focused café environment and takes pride in serving great coffee with genuine warmth and care.

You’ll be the face of the café on weekends, helping to create a positive, memorable experience for every customer who walks through the door.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has barista experience working with a commercial espresso machine
• Genuinely enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Delivers warm, friendly, and consistent customer service
• Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work
• Is reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Brings a natural passion for hospitality and great coffee

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality coffee and hot drinks to a consistent standard
• Operating a commercial espresso machine confidently and efficiently
• Serving customers with a friendly, welcoming approach
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented work area
• Handling payments and basic café service duties
• Supporting the smooth running of weekend service
