BEHAVIOUR MENTOR - 1:1 YEAR 9 STUDENT

East London | Full-Time | £100-£130 per day

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to provide 1:1 support to a Year 9 boy in an East London school.

This is a challenging role and would suit someone with strong experience supporting young people with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong SEMH experience
• Has experience supporting secondary-aged students
• Is confident managing challenging behaviour
• Has strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Is calm, patient and consistent
• Can build positive relationships with students
• Is confident setting clear boundaries
• Can remain calm under pressure
• Is reliable, resilient and able to use their initiative

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support, helping the student with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement throughout the school day.

Experience within SEMH schools, alternative provision, PRUs or specialist settings would be highly desirable.
